Macarons: The Sweet Delight That Came a Long Way

Macarons have been around for a long time, but many people don’t know that the first macaron was actually made in Italy, not in France. It was in the 16th century when Catherine de Medicis brought macarons to France and introduced them to the French. Ever since then, macarons have been a popular dessert in French cuisine.

Here at French Patisserie, we take pride in the art and science of making macarons. We have perfected our recipe through many trials and errors. Over the years, we’ve learned that the most common reasons why macarons might fail are overmixing the batter, not allowing the macarons to rest before baking, not baking them long enough, or incorrect oven temperature.

We use the French meringue method to make macarons because it’s easier, stable, and less messy. All our macarons are made from scratch in our kitchen every day, with 24 assorted flavors to choose from, including Vanilla, Birthday Cake, Cookie Dough, Nutella, and so much more. We even offer unique flavors such as Macaron Ispahan, created by Chef Pierre Herme in Paris, and our Macaron Gelato Sandwich.

Not only do we offer individual macarons, but we also provide catering and macaron towers for any occasion. Our team members are always happy to help you choose the right flavors that will suit your taste buds and your special event.

Come and visit us at The Mall at Millenia and experience the sweet delight that has come a long way.

Best,
Chef Ana
