Mille Feuille also known as Napoleon in America is a French classic dessert made with puff pastry filled with a Vanilla custard. For me is one of the prettiest but also delicious and favorite to make. Mille Feuille refers to a thousand layers , so flaky and crunchy texture that is to die for.
It can be topped with a layer of icing usually called fondant swirled with thin chocolate lines or simply topped with powder sugar. I also love the many variations that can get done , berries can be add , pistachios , raspberries even a delicious salted caramel filling with the vanilla custard in the Napoleon sounds just amazing.
